The six gardens you will visit are:

Bell's Daylily Garden - Tim and Linda Bell    www.bellsdaylilygarden.com    Tim has taken on the responsibility of co-chairing this event with my husband, Ron.  Tim still has hair on his head, but we will see how much he has to comb a year from now!  Ron doesn't have to worry about losing his hair over this event.  Tim is an award winning hybridizer with numerous introductions.  This garden is an AHS Display Garden.

Country Lane Nursery and Daylily Garden - Wayne and Jo Taunton  www.countrylanedaylilies.com  Wayne is president of the Valdosta Daylily Society and grows approximately 1200 varieties of daylilies in their lovely country setting.  Jo and Wayne have introduced many lovely daylilies since 2007.  In addition to growing daylilies, they also operate a nursery.  This garden is an AHS Display Garden.

Eller's Sunshine Garden - Don and Nancy Eller  www.donellerdaylilies.com  This is a two hybridizer garden with Nancy producing some fabulous doubles and Don hybridizing some fantastic large single formed flowers.  They have had several award winning cultivars since their first introductions in 2004.  Their garden is the most northern garden to be toured and is located outside of Leesburg, GA.  Be prepared to see some great looking seedlings here.

Patron Gardens - Ron and Pat Bonner  www.patrongdns.com  grow approximately 1300 varieties of daylilies over nearly 2 acres of land.  They are located just south of Albany's city limits and have been growing daylilies in earnest since the mid 1990's.  They will have some of the newest varieties for you to see as well as results of their own "dabbing" pollen efforts.  Their garden is partially situated in a pecan grove so you may be able to find some relief from the hot Georgia sun.  They are normally a closed garden are delighted to have so many daylily "crazies" in their garden.  Ron is the Co-Chair for this National and Pat is in charge of publicity and anything else they ask her to do.

Heritage Gardens- Gene and Sandra Seago   Heritage Gardens is located in the Historic District, at 1802 North Oak Street, one block North of Valdosta State University. With tall pines, oaks, hollies, crepe myrtles, boxwoods, azaleas, hydrangeas, roses, ferns, hostas, and camellias, the garden is much more than daylilies. The garden is small, just over an acre. Visitors call the daylily garden "The Secret Garden", because from the street, it is completely hidden. The garden will surprise and delight you. Enjoy the swing on the pergola or take a break at the pool area under the lanai.

The Garden At Winchester Place -  Dr. Chappell Collins, Jr.   Dr. Collins farm is located north of Camilla, GA.  He has a vast collection of the newest cultivars as well some older varieties.  He grows Hostas under the shade of several large Pecan trees.  He looks forward to showing off his hard work to you next summer.

We hope that you will visit the websites above and check out what is in store for you on the tours.  We offer a variety of gardens from the smaller home garden to the hybridizer garden to the beautifully landscaped garden.  We think you'll find something to make your visit worth the trip.

What's My Name?

Have you always wanted to name a daylily, but you don’t hybridize?

Well during the 2010 AHS National in Valdosta you can win a chance to name this beauty and you will also win a piece of the plant itself. The KIinnebrew’s have generously donated the naming rights to the 2010 AHS National. The rights and a piece of the plant will go to the highest bidder. Don’t you miss out!
