Indian Camp Daylilies - Dave and Regina Richardson
Indian Camp Daylilies came to be after a trip “just to buy a couple of daylilies” from a fellow educator. After learning about hybridizing and waiting anxiously to see what our crosses would make, we were hooked. We would not be here today if we had not been introduced to local daylily hybridizers, Mary Frank and Phillip Gaskins, and Mark and June Singletary and the Jammin’s family. They all treated us like family, and we are very grateful for their friendship. We are members of the Valdosta Daylily Club, where we continuously learn more about the daylily.
Today, Indian Camp Daylilies has over seven hundred cultivars. We also sell select seedlings that do not make the cut and grow over two thousand seedlings each year. Our garden is spread over two acres. When you visit, you will find nine raised beds, six in ground beds, several hundred pots of cultivars for sale and many seedlings. We have several roosters and hens who are keeping watch day and night on the garden. We are continuing to add to the garden and landscape daily.
Indian Camp Daylilies is located in Nashville, Berrien County Ga.
