VALDOSTA Club News:
In January, the Valdosta Club was privileged to Have Mort Morss from Daylily World in Sanford, Florida to present a slide program that included 2006 and previous introductions. He shared some of his hybridizing formulas and techniques that regularly produce award-winning blooms. Mort brought great plants to be purchased at the auction. President Tim Bell introduced a “Point

System” whereby credit is earned for participation in local and regional activities. Points earned can be applied to the purchase of plants during a special auction in October when members will have an opportunity to “spend” their points. Jim and Peggy Jeffcoat were guest speakers at The February 16th meeting.  They presented a very interesting program featuring slides from their display garden, Singing Oakes Garden, in Blythewood, SC.

Remember our members:
Don Eller, recuperating from back surgery,  he attended the February meeting in Valdosta. Sandy Campbell is at home, and is doing well from a heart procedure at Emory on February 21st.
