SOUTHWEST GEORGIA Club News: 
The Southwest Georgia Hemerocallis Society met on November 1, 2005, at the Decatur County Senior Center in Bainbridge, Ga. Mr. Floyd McNeal, in coming RVP of Region 5 was the guest speaker. Floyd spoke about the many aspects of Region 5 and discussed the changes he will be making upon his accession as the new RVP. We were very pleased to have someone of his stature and demeanor to speak to the Southwest Georgia Daylily Society.

The Southwest Georgia Hemerocallis Society held its annual Christmas Party on December 6, 2005., at the Firehouse Gallery in Bainbridge. This was a covered-dish dinner. We had several visitors at this meeting. All the members participated in a gift exchange process with each other. Several individuals received poinsettias as door prizes. This event was enjoyed by everyone who attended.

The southwest Georgia Hemerocallis Society convened on January 2, 2006 at the Decatur county Senior Center. This was a special meeting in which a garden Exhibition Judges Clinic was conducted. We had five of our local members to take the exam to become garden Judges. This was an informative meeting in which every one benefited as a whole.
